SPOT ON DAV YOUR RIGHT. WAS A GOOD TURN OUT FOR THE INAGURAL SHOW FOR THE NPA........WILL BE BIGGER AND BETTER NEXT YEAR

If the show is going to be bigger next year they will need a bigger hall to hold it in.There was no more room in that one,it was over crowded as it was with very little room in the ailes. The judging on the Friday night also caused problems due to the lack of light.

Hello Everyone

I actually exibited at Blackpool show this year in the NPA section, and I have to say although the show itself was really good the lighting was poor for judging although I managed to win quite a few prizes with my Membler High Flyers, Holle Croppers, and American Show Kings. I am the secretary of the Young Fanciers Pigeon Club for the UK, and Attend lots of the Fancy pigeon Championship shows across the Country.

I did not exhibit at Blackpool but several fanciers that I know had birds there and they don't seem too keen on going back next year. Bad room, bad access, too long in the pens etc. etc.      I think basically it was a shop window for the fancy breeds and a commercial opportunity for a few dealers.  As regards the sale pens most in demand were Fantails, presumably to use as droppers.   I am not sure if it will receive the necessary support next year.  It's not my thing but everyone to his own.
