Guest Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 hello ashely m & d evans are outstanding and there results prove it. they do not keep rubbish in thier lofts i can confidentley say as i know several people who have purchased birds from them and they will give you endless results of there success with m & d evans birds. i myself are lookin at the possibility of some birds direct from there lofts however this means a wait until 2007-2008 but there worth the wait and just by looking at the estimated time when you can purchase birds of them should suggest to you there quality an reputation of thier racing and breeding of outstanding birds. all the best with the birds paul carter

Guest Doostalker Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 Ashley, well done again on topping the Combine. Really enjoyed our talk on the chat line the other night. Looking forward to seeing your birds. By the way, the show in London on weekend of 3/4 December is the RPRA Southern Region Show. You will probably get the info in the BHW sometime soon. Good luck in the future.
carl Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 Ashley so you topped the combine with your new m&d evans birds.Well done,so where yous racing youngbirds from them.
jimmy white Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 i had birds a while ago from charlie wooff [of wooff bros and son new ollerton] two of them were from m and d evans, myrtle lofts, one of these pigeons ,nicknamed the myrtle cock, won 7 races including dorchestor two years on the trot, also a top position from sartilly 505 miles and it was supposed to be a sprinter
ashleyt Posted October 4, 2005 Author Report Posted October 4, 2005 hi all , i race from dagenham essex (carl) , thanks for the support, all the best ashley
jimmy white Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 congrats, on your great result, ashley
stucky 1 Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 M& d evans are like the most of sellers of birds they keep a good pigeon but like all others they will sell birds that are not any good at racing or breeding, that does not make them con men it just the way things are with any performance animal, they have been some big wins with there stock just as they are plenty people selling them on every week, in the papers. that have proven to be no good. The now there are about 3 stud sires in the horse world that are breeding nearly all the big classic winners, so that tells us that there been plenty big classic winners breeding nothing, just like pigeons, it so hard to get that rear animal the foundation hen or cock, so wen you get them treasure them cause chance is you not get another.
carl Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 Stucky 1 They cant all be good mate,if you read above ashley has just introduced m & d evans to his loft and topped the combine with them,a life times achievment.Does that not tell you they sell good birds?.
stucky 1 Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 Read what i said carl, i not try to bring them or ashley down, ijust called it as i said it. I bred birds to win 4 or 5 times in nat racing they have bred sec winners in nat racing does not meen to say that if you get birds from me they will win for you. It is a hard hard game.
PIGEON_MAN Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 I,M WITH YOU ALL THE WAY STUCKY 1 I HAVE BEEN SAYING THE SAME AS YOU FOR YEARS.CONGRATULATIONS TO ASHLEY I BELEIVE HIS DAD SPENT A LOT OF MONEY AT THE M + D EVANS SALE SO I,M GLAD FOR THEM THAT THEY WERE LUCKY ENOUGH TO BUY BIRDS THAT HAVE BRED WINNERS. I KNOW SO SO MANY FANCIERS WHO HAVE SPENT THOUSANDS ON BIRDS WITH LONG PEDIGREES OR OFF THE SO CALLED IN STRAIN OF THE DAY AND HAVE NOT BRED A THING OFF THEM.ANOTHER THING I ALLWAYS THINK WHEN YOU BUY PIGEONS FOR STOCK IS HOW MANY FANCIERS IN THEIR RIGHT MINDS ARE GOING TO SELL YOU PIGEONS THAT ARE BREEDING WINNERS UNLESS THEY ARE ACTUALLY PACKING UP.
Silverdale Lofts Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 Firstly well done ashley but i agree with stucky lets take some examples how many rings do louella purchase every year 10,000, 20,000 maybe 50,000 nobody knows only the reddings the ybs you get are bred down off champions now look in the homing world joe bloggs topped national joe bloggs topped combine only handful of winners out of them rings sold
stucky 1 Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 Thanks silv and pigeon man glad someone new what i was trying to say, right enough even i dont no sometimes so u are excused carl lol
Guest Posted November 23, 2005 Report Posted November 23, 2005 Well done ashley, saw your birds in rp magazine, topped the combine brilliant flyer, ashley
