Andrew's auction  and clockman's pigeonbasic fund auction is STILL go ahead..........................!

These two auctions are both pigeon basic auctions and are both contributing towards the improvment and upgrade and promotion of pigeon basics.

I thought it was Pigeon basics Fund Auction not Clockmans he was the kind person who offered to and organise the fund auction to help contribute to the web site funds required.

i said that he had offered to arrange it on behalf of the site

In my opinion all andrew uses this forum for is to sell and advertise is own birds having just come back today having spent a week in tenerife i notice andrew as put up a advert to is own forum for janssen de klaks also he states he donated £20 from birds he sold on here that must work out a £1 a bird the ammount of birds he as sold he was kicked off the up north combine site for trying to sell birds sorry if im sounding hard on andrew but the auction for pigeon basics which clockman as kindly offered to organise must surely suffer with so many auctions taking place.

Please note i pay for the banner ad on pigeon basics and also front page adverts i haev posted a few birds for sale but some haev been repeat posts and i have only actually sold 1 bird over pigeon basics the rest were sold from the british homing world.

please also notw i was not kicked off up north combine web i put an ad on there as there was a few others, i was not told there was a seperate section for this i was told by admin and i moved it and everything was sorted out, the admin agreed that it was not clear where to post these ad's

my opinion for what its worth on this auction issue is that there are a few people who have joined this forum purely for self gain & nothing else,continually selling pigeons at what i would regard as over inflated prices,i did not join this forum to be continually bombarded with their adverts & free adverts at that.

this is totally different to a member trying to flog a few birds surplus to requirements or to help with feeding bills.

what clockman has done for rachels appeal & for the upcoming auction to help with funds for the site is to be applauded & not demeened and i hope he will not be put off by professional pigeon sellers trying to make themselves out as goody goody"s  & poking their noses in where they are not needed.

Well said billy that was the point i was trying to put accross regarding trying to sell pigeons on here andrew states he sold most of is birds in the bhw which he night have done but what he couldnt sell he tried selling on here or the up north combine site we all used to chat on the usa site around 5 years ago until it was closed and richard started this site up and what a great job hes done we all used to meet up at blackpool every year some meets we had around 20 fanciers meeting in the ballroom. In my opinion the auction should be all for pigeon basics like the rachels fund which maddy and clockman did a great job.
