Guest Posted February 15, 2006 Report Posted February 15, 2006 Also you need to find out the reason for them getting respitory in the first place, i.e. look at your loft ventilation!!
Chatrace Posted February 15, 2006 Report Posted February 15, 2006 We use TYLAN in the water if a problem shows.
jimmy white Posted February 15, 2006 Report Posted February 15, 2006 agree with spelbin plenty fersh air ,bone dry loft, and minimum birds, and agree with chatrace tylan will cure this,,,,, but would be more prepared to find out why they have contracted problem

Guest Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 I used Tiamutin when I was in the UK, presribed by my Vet in Burnley. Believe it's not popular these days ????????
T_T Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 Hi S75, You ask when is the best time to treat for Respiratory before the season starts. If they havn't got it, why treat ? To help PREVENT it, make sure your not overcrowded and the loft has more than enough ventilation. I aways thought Tylan to be the best for treating when it popped it's head up. I thought it had been taken off the market but reading some of these replies, it could still be available.
Chatrace Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 TYLAN For hard to get respiratory problems, I.E. and Mycoplasmosis also helps in eliminating the mucus in the mouth. 1 Teaspoon/Gallon for 7-14 days. Works excellent in combination with Aureomycin ORDER# DESCRIPTION PRICE 1020-011 Tylan 100 Gr $ 45.00 http://www.globalpigeon.com/main.html
