jimmy_bulger Posted March 30, 2006 Report Posted March 30, 2006 if you have 4 years to wait and £500.00 go to dutch links on www. pipa .be
Guest Posted March 30, 2006 Report Posted March 30, 2006 lol, I'm grey haired and pushing 60, but I do have a great interest in the Music played by Military Bands from all over the World. Say Harrison Ford and you may stand a better chance
baroudeur Posted March 30, 2006 Author Report Posted March 30, 2006 I know that a VDW pigeon cost at least 500 livres but I cannot wait 4 years. Do you know an honest breeder ? I have purchased a cock ( pure VDW) on the site of Herbots family and I try to find a hen for this cock. I build a colony and I want to have a good base.

baroudeur Posted March 31, 2006 Author Report Posted March 31, 2006 Hello, Thanks for your token. Generally the englisch fanciers don't anwer to my messages. I asked fanciers directly on their website in order to buy some pigeons ( especially Busschaert strain for very long distances and Aarden from de Smarag and from Invincible Spirit ) and I never had an answer. However, I am ready to cross the chanel for purchasing a pair of pigeons considering I am located in the North of France.

Guest Posted March 31, 2006 Report Posted March 31, 2006 Wow, super Loft my friend.Congratulations I've a feeling that you won't be able to bring any birds into and EU Countries until the Avian Influenza ban has been lifted. Birds cannot be imported or Exported in the UK as we have had enquiries to send some birds to England and it is not possible at this time. BTW I am an english Lady living in America Good Luck
peterpau Posted March 31, 2006 Report Posted March 31, 2006 I think we can still get birds from the continent. Tell me if I'm wrong
baroudeur Posted March 31, 2006 Author Report Posted March 31, 2006 It's possible to send pigeons interior Europe but I don't know if it's possible out of the continent. I have seen on the web an american seller who propose pigeons with the shipping cost for Europe.
Guest Posted March 31, 2006 Report Posted March 31, 2006 Baroudeur We had an an enquiry to send some birds to England so I asked the customer to contact the Import Agent, unfortunately No Pigeons are allowed to be imported from the States into The United Kingdom. Maybe the guy who is advertising is not aware of the current regulations
Guest Posted March 31, 2006 Report Posted March 31, 2006 On the other hand if the advertiser is Mr. Mike Ganus he also has premises in Belgium I think it is so he could supply birds to Europe and the Uited Kingdom from there.
baroudeur Posted March 31, 2006 Author Report Posted March 31, 2006 It was this week on World Wide Pigeon Auction. The shipping cost from USA was 45$ and the fees were free. Actually, on this site, there are only pigeons located in Netherland. Write in that this shop is not serious...
