Guest Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 I want to know how was your one-loft-race this year if you sent to one-loft-race and where?
Guest Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 Would PIGEONBASICS send a team of Young Birds into Europa Classic 2006 one-loft-race? £200 for 3 yb's to enter - and - £50 Deposit.
Guest Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 I never try and send my yb's to one loft race. it's a lot of money.
Guest shadow Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 I think their are plenty on the go at the moment if people want to form syndicates and have a go good luck to them
Chatrace Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 I think they are good for a couple reasons. !st one is I host a one loft race and that is good for me . I do pay out all entry fees and have almost daily updates how the birds are doing and a good Inventory so the Breeder knows if his or hers bird are still in the race. It is a True test on the birds against others that are trained and fed the same. It levels the playing field. Some races are costly I have tried to make my race for the poor man, because there are more poor flyers than rich ones : http://hometown.aol.com/chatrace2001/Extrapage.html#
jimmy white Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 i personally would not wish, any syndicate formed out of pigeon basics to enter any one loft race [not that im against one loft races] but this is a forum and not a club, whenever money is involved , animosity creeps in. ive nothing against private messages to form syndicates, but to have nothing to do with pigeon basics. we can have our fun free, look at the show, no entry fee, pretty cheap for all that fun :)
Guest Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 AFTER BEING AT THE SCOTTISH ONE LOFT RACE NEVER AGAIN :-/

johno Posted December 8, 2005 Report Posted December 8, 2005 Alan I hear that the scottish one whatever it is calling itself had only the winner at the prize presentation. No one was invited. The woman in the office who deals with it had no information from those running the race. I have been informed that Bobby Kennedy is being sweet talked into doing a patch up job on the pr side. All the people like doostalker who put in the donkeywork have not even been considered. Bobby Kennedy is being given a free weekend some where for him and his wife if he takes on the task. The administrator for the scottish race is still awaiting any information to put it all together. The way this has been approached would not give much encouragement for 2006. It is the case that at present there are only 50 entries for 2006. At the same time last year the number was over 200. Says it all. Makes you think.
speedbird Posted December 9, 2005 Report Posted December 9, 2005 1 bird lofts are ok but dont you think it will kill racing at club/fed level? as you lokk at national racing alot of pigeon fanciers are going for distance for the money!! as clubs seems to be folding up everywhere also got to have a lot of look with 1 loft races a freind of mine won the pre race & over 60 came together & his was the first through the trap so he won!! but alot of luck needed
