Diamond dave Posted April 26, 2006 Report Posted April 26, 2006 Bob, I think you can spot this "trait" in young birds. I often spot it when weaning babies. They seem to be that bit more alert to there surroundings or perhaps more inquisitive to whats going on or perhaps its that they are more confident. There is definately something about them which makes me take more of a liking to them, though I have never measured this against results later in life other than to say I ahve a liking for all the adult birds that I keep
Guest Silverwings Posted April 26, 2006 Report Posted April 26, 2006 well put dave ! ' If you like em you will work with them ' natural tameness ,alertness and observation is a must .....ray
robert.sutherland Posted April 26, 2006 Author Report Posted April 26, 2006 That's what my mate says he says he will look over is shoulder to see a young en watching him while scraping the loft He say he looks for that alert look but still i carent see it maybe not bean observant at all better open my eyes .lol yours in sport BOB
