The Pfungstadts, Memelers, and Portuguese, fly out but not often as there are lots of hawks where I live, and I use them for showing, We brought the flying breeds back from Germany a few years ago Steph

homer Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 hi steph, nice looking birds. i do like the Holle Cropper !! i have been told that some of the cropper/pouter breeds are very messy feeders and pump a lot of water into the youngerns and therefore feeders are often used. is this the case with the holle or do they rear their own without mess????

DOVEScot Posted November 11, 2007 Report Posted November 11, 2007 Thats a Holle Cropper still being pen trained to stand properly Do you use a blue background for photo editing?
Guest Posted November 11, 2007 Report Posted November 11, 2007 Do you use a blue background for photo editing? Not really its just to seperate the pens so the birds dont see each other while there in the pens they seem to quieten down quicker and respond better and its a nice background for pics ;D
Guest beautyhomer Posted November 11, 2007 Report Posted November 11, 2007 Thats a Holle Cropper still being pen trained to stand properly Steph, have you tried rounding the corners of the show pen out with cardboard to stop them standing in the corners?
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted November 11, 2007 Report Posted November 11, 2007 Do you use a blue background for photo editing? certainly makes the white birds stand out
DOVEScot Posted November 11, 2007 Report Posted November 11, 2007 certainly makes the white birds stand out And Great for photo editing as well
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted November 11, 2007 Report Posted November 11, 2007 And Great for photo editing as well a good background can make a bird look better
DOVEScot Posted November 11, 2007 Report Posted November 11, 2007 Definately, blue is one of the most popular backgrounds for highlighting and the easiest for editing. Windows clouds being the most famous I would think
