Guest Posted May 2, 2006 Report Posted May 2, 2006 I thought it was good luck that comes in threes, it must work the other way round for me. Last wednesday I let my Ybs out and they were scattered off by a squirell running along my fence = 2 Ybs missing, Thursday it was the hawks turn to attack = 1 Yb killed and one reported 30 miles away, then Friday a cat scattered them all and chased one down the garden = 2 more missing. :'( Did manage to give the cat a good kick though
samantha Posted May 2, 2006 Report Posted May 2, 2006 aww sorry bout your missing birds luv, grrr i hate cats !! >
Guest Posted May 2, 2006 Report Posted May 2, 2006 Sorry Shelbin, always hard to loose young birds. I hate cats with a vengence.
Guest Posted May 2, 2006 Report Posted May 2, 2006 I cant really complain about the cats as ive got two of my own. Other cats normally stay well clear of the garden as one of my cats is a male cat. I should have been watching them really, and I only walked down the garden for a min. when it made its attack.
Peckedhen Posted May 2, 2006 Report Posted May 2, 2006 I think it's bad luck that comes in threes! I'm sorry about your losses - look on the bright side though....things can only get better now! I think that good luck is on my side so far....seeing as I only have three young birds out, don't know what I'm doing and have managed not to loose any yet!! :
