Do members think it's worth resting pigeons ?

I sent two cocks last week and rested 14 others of different ages although trained them.  I got last weeks two cocks first and am still waiting for the other 14 an hour later.

T-t think that a weeks rest is worth considering if the vel of the previous two weeks had been in the 900s or depending on the  effort put in by an individual pigeon if say a certain pigeon keeps giving his guts for you week in week out it pays to take him off the pulse for a week ......ray

yeah all our birds would of had a week rest or two by now if we had started channel racing think its good to give em a rest now & again + had some hard races this year with weather ect

agree with silver wings , there are times to rest them it all depends on the type of racing youve had, and how long your season is, and what sort of distance you want to try
