Jack Barkel Posted June 18, 2006 Report Posted June 18, 2006 Hello Hyacinth, Expecting my two sons and two daughters for lunch, the traditional roast beef and Yorkshire pudding on a Sunday. I hope I get some chocolates although I am diabetic!!! Jack
T_T Posted June 18, 2006 Report Posted June 18, 2006 Would you believe, I am having a family day on the beach with my son and daughter, g/kids as well. Weather very warm here so all should be well for blisters and headaches. Know the feeling on Diabetes Jack, me too. Difficult to say no to the spotted dick or treacle pudding.
Guest Posted June 18, 2006 Report Posted June 18, 2006 Jack cannot say no to apple pie lol Have a great day clive with your family
T_T Posted June 18, 2006 Report Posted June 18, 2006 Thanks Hyacinth, It's 10 past seven here in the UK so they will soon be rattling the door with chairs, windbreaks, games and goodies. I'll be taking my armchair !!! LOL.
Jack Barkel Posted June 18, 2006 Report Posted June 18, 2006 Hey Folks, its freezing cold here this Sunday morning, yes its sunny South Africa but I have just come back from the pigeon lofts and the garden is covered in white frost. I am wearing a vest, long sleeved shirt and long sleeved polo neck and a fur lined jacket. No sun bathing here, we are in mid winter. So much for warmer climates. T-T I haven't had a Spotted Dick for years, I am lucky to still get my Yorkshire pudding. Hyacinth oh for a good American Apple Pie. Jack
