Letting your Pigeons Fly for the first time. I have 4 Roller Pigeons for 2 weeks.

I like to let them fly and I asked several People on how to go about letting them

fly.

Some say I should trap train them and some say if I have a lage opening say a 4 foot by 4 foot opening  theycan easily get back into the fly pen  I will not have to Trap train them.

I will not feed them the day they fly,I like to let them loose late in the afternoon, I

am almost certain they will want to come back in to their sleeping area. I also use a

whistle each time I feed them and will use it if they do not return.

Has anyone ever had any problems with just opening up a 4 Foot by 4 Foot section of

the fly pen just to let them in and out providing you close it up at night so kritters

won't get it.

I better fly them soon ,I am afraid they won't fly as they get older.

Thanks Jason
