Which is your favourite show and why?

It's the time of year when many show fanciers are starting to plan their show calender, for those with more than 1 breed or more than 1 team it can be quite complicated and time and thought put in now will hopefully pay off later.

Which is your favourite show, the one you look forward to the most?

Mine is Blackpool not only for the atmosphere and the social side but because you can only improve by competing against the best :)

just looking forward to the race season starting and enjoying the breeding season with the show birds, with the team split we are hoping to do a lot more shows this year!

For me its the time of year when we can hopefully breed a few never mind plan the shows !!!!! As to what shows are the best its a matter of choice to each individual.

I must admit that I enjoyed the Blackpool show for the fancy pigeons and it was interesting to see so many stalls in competition with each other for everything imaginable that you can think of for pigeons.

Only ever been to one so that would have to be my favourite, and that was Blackpool.   ;D ;D ;D

There are a lot of good shows but it depends on what you want from them.

If you just like to go and have a look then Blackpool can't be bettered but if you are wanting to start showing then join your local society and show there. Showing at the society shows will help you build your team and enable you to talk to fellow members, handle there birds and even talk to the judges for advise. At Blackpool you can't even get to handle the birds!

Once you are holding your own at a society then you can raise your sights to the open shows.
