66 birds liberated at 10 am into a 5./10 mile ph headwind.

Members are only allowed to send one bird each and there have been some heavy losses through training due to mainly Hawks.

First drop of 12 birds timed in from 240 miles at 4.22 I was lucky to have one in the drop, same way bred as one of Jimmy White's birds in Lot 41.

The returns were great and the weekend was excellent with some really good food served and I managed to bring some raffle prizes home with me

You can send a back up at the same time as your primary bird, which will replace the primary if it gets lost.  Mine was my primary and my backup got lost.

They had a second race for backups that hadn't been activated, released one hour after the main race.  No prize money but you could pool the bird.

Hi Linda,

You always seem to be there when it matters.

Good girl.

What a way to spend a week end and to bring raffle prizes home as well.  Did you walk in something on your way there. ?
