barry Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 IM GOING TO TRY WIDOWHOOD NEXT SEASON , ARE THERE ANY W/H FLYERS OUT THERE WILLING TO SHARE THERE FEEDING PROGRAM PLEASE....
Pompey Mick Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Do yourself a favour Barry, and get hold of a copy of 'The Widowhood Year' by Dave Allen and it will give you a very good grounding in the art of Widowhood flying. It's still available from Boddy & Ridewood and is an absolute goldmine of information for novice Widowhood flyers. I wouldn't bother with the video though.
jimmy white Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 i agree barry this is a good book , but sharing feeding methods really is very difficult as ,i have found , it all depends on the distance you fly and the type of race, in the vey short races , most feed a depurative mixed with brewers yeast and pure lemon juice [as the bought stuff contains additives] some will feed this on home comming until the tuesday or wed , but for the long races this is out alltogether in my opinion , so whatever your type of racing is , i would tend to do some reading on it as this is very important in my view,
