Guest Posted August 31, 2006 Report Posted August 31, 2006 hi just wondering if any other union does the same as the welsh homing union does?,if for instance i have bought youngsters from masserella,s they will be gb rung. if i then wish to race them under whu rules , i have to registra them with the whu, at a cost of 25p a bird. thats on top of the cost of transferring them with the rpra.
PIGEON_MAN Posted August 31, 2006 Report Posted August 31, 2006 I THINK THE ONLY RINGS THAT YOU HAVE TO REGISTER WITH THE RPRA ARE FOREIGN RINGS AND THAT COSTS 50p PER RING.WELSH,SCOTTISH, IRISH ETC.JUST HAVE TO BE TRANSFERRED TO YOU.
Guest Posted August 31, 2006 Report Posted August 31, 2006 hi, i know ive paid £1 to transfer a gb rung pigeon over to me on a few occasions.
Guest Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 yeah the rpra charge £1 per form, not sure of the amount of rinngs you can get on it. but the whu ring registration is not really that good is it.as at the end of the day we are still all in GB, supose its just away for them to make some more revenue. It was a pain for us lads in the north at the start as all our birds rings had tobe registred, but now the majority of us just have whu rings to start off with. and only have to register the odd one we bring in.
Guest Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 yes gerraint, thing is when uve transferred a gb bird it gets reported to the rpra....not the whpu,so why should we pay again to register the bird in our names if its already done with the rpra...as u say extra revenue for them.
