Hope it went well I couldn't make it due to other committments. Well done to Alf for organising everything and I hope it was a good one for Jimmys Widow. Looking at the quality of the birds I'm sure it will have been.

Alf Rothwell said "Stephen, The sale was outstanding raising approx: £29,000. Top price £3500  for UNC winner, £1800 for mother of UNC winner and £1800 for 2nd UNC.There was a minute of Appreciation for Jimmy and the clapping was tremendous, I was well choked. I would like to thank the following people who looked after Jimmys birds after he died: Colin Allison, Homer & Williams and Gordon Turnbull without there help I could not have managed.Sincere thanks to everyone who bought pigeons and you for displaying the advert. These pigeons will leave their mark in the pigeon world, I am sure of that. On behalf of Debra, James Michael and Family and myself thank you all very much. Alf Rothwell

p.s Reg Renwick said it was the largest crowd that had ever attended the sales there and the room was filled with some of the Top Class fanciers in the UK."
