THATS TRUE THEY WERE JUST ADVISING PEOPLE NOT TO USE IT AND AS YOU SAY THATS UP TO THE INDIVIDUAL IF THEY WANT TO USE , MAYBE SOME OF THEM CAN TELL YOU WHERE TO GET IT

Not quite true if you live in the UK.

 

Prescription only here, and then only when the vet has seen the animal, diagnosed the problem and decided that this antibiotic is best.

we do not find it any more here in Malta but we have Enrofloxin pills,which is the same

You can also get it in liquid form (Enroflox-cina) a lot cheaper than Baytril and not as harsh on the birds

stay away from it unless you have a mega problem

and then only on the advice of someone in the know

remember its the SILVER BULLET only to be used when all else fails

cause once you have used this on your birds nothing else works

If its my local vet you missed a bit off there
