Guest TAMMY_1 Posted November 9, 2006 Report Posted November 9, 2006 can anyone tell me what seeds are protien and which are carbohydrates and why you need to buy different mixes when all should be in one mix IF YOU GO TO THE DOWNLOADS ON THIS SITE THERE IS A GRAINS CHART YOU CAN DOWNLOAD AND THIS TELL'S YOU ABOUT THE CONTENT OF EVERY GRAIN
Guest Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 The different mixes have different proportions of proteins & carbohydrates, for different jobs. The names usually give what these mixes are intended for: breeders, moulting, racing, winter etc.
Guest ben Posted November 11, 2006 Report Posted November 11, 2006 Hi Race, all the "seeds" as you say ALLcontain protein, carbs, fats ect ,and the content%wise, will vary from field to field, where they are grow, let alone district, county, contry, thereeby making these so called"charts" inaccurate and mostly useless,as for why so many mixtures are sold, simply to take advantage of the many mentally challeneged fanciers who really think everthing that comes in a nice courled package,is the real deal, not just corn and grain,i mean pigeons, medication as well. Hope this helps
Tony C Posted November 11, 2006 Report Posted November 11, 2006 Ben can you tell us how those not mentally challenged feed to win?
