Anybody interested in showing a few birds the Midland Show Racer Society have shows on the following dates at Wednesbury, 2 mins off junction 9 M6.

 

26th October Wires Y/C Y/H O/C O/H

9th November Handled Y/C Y/H O/C O/H

23rd November Handled Y/C Y/H O/C O/H

7th December Handled Y/C Y/H O/C O/H

21st December Handled Y/C Y/H O/C O/H

4th January Handled Y/C Y/H O/C O/H

 

There are seperate classes for racers and show racers.

 

The MSRS also have there open show at the Tipton Sports acadamy on Dec 14th.

Can you watch the judges go round Phil or do you have to wait outside?

Interested in showing a few birds this year but would like to watch the Judge's to see what they like.

The club shows we normally go and sit in the bar and have a drink but the open show may have the hall closed or the show area may just be restricted but judgeing could be watched.

The club shows are open to anybody, we pen 11 til 12 and retire to the bar while judgeing is taking place.

After judgeing has finished there is time for everybody to have a good look at the birds before unpenning and heading for home.

The entries are rung through to the sec on the Wed/Thur evening before each show.

There are cups and trophy's for members for which you would need to be a member of the Midland Show Racer Society.
