On Saturday the Milton Homing Society held its Prize Presentation at Club Headquarters, The 'Old House at Home' Portsmouth.

This was the first time we had held it in the Pub, our Landlady & President , Linda closed the Bar to the Public to give us the full use of it and produced a lovely hot & cold Buffet which went down a treat. All proceeds from the Raffle were given to Linda for her locally run Charity Fund, a total of £185.00 which was gratefully accepted.

The night was a great success for everyone concerned and it looks like it will be repeated next year. Brian Wall of Gem Supplements presented the prizes as well as generously donating some of his products for the raffle.

IN THE CLASSICS  AND NATIONALS  MILTON  MEMBERS  PERFORMED  VERY WELL  WITH   KEVIN  &  JOHN  ZERAFA  HAVING AN EXCELLENT  YEAR   WINNING ;

    1ST  Sec, 8th  Open    BBC    INGLETON, 2nd Sec  St NAZAIRE  NFC.   1St  Sec   SAINTES   NFC, &  2nd  Sec  BORDEAUX   NFC.  

    

BOMBER   MELLIS  ALSO HAD A  VERY  GOOD SEASON  WITH  1st Sec,  8th Open   BORDEAX   NFC   &   3rd Sec  BERGERAC  CSCFC.

 

LEE  WILLETT  PERFORMED  WELL IN THE NFC  YB  RACE  FROM  CHALE  WINNING  THE SECTION.

 

THE  BEST  SINGLE  RACE  PERFORMANCE  MUST  GO TO  MICK  &  SUE  BETTERIDGE  WHO  HAD A FANTASTIC  RACE  FROM  BORDEAUX  WITH THE  BRITISH  BARCELONA  CLUB  WINNING  1St, 2nd, & 11th  Sec:   4th, 10th  & 30th  Open.

Hope a good time was had but all Mick, ya had some good results ther from members, are ya holding the shows ther this year ?????????? if so whats the dates thay start. good picts of the ;local winners mate   ;D cheers Speck.

Hi Speck,

We will be holding our Club Shows, but due to lack of space we can only cater for Club members. We are starting with Young Hens this Friday, you can always come down for a look and a chat.

The old Gunnery Towers will be going soon to build yet more flats,as if we need them here.
