Guest Posted November 9, 2006 Report Posted November 9, 2006 i dont let my birds out in the winter months...i believe all ur doing is feeding the hawks. i can bath them in the loft..in the flights and they seem happy enough. i wish l.f.c... ;ruled...lol ;D
Wiley Posted November 9, 2006 Report Posted November 9, 2006 only thing about bathing in ur loft i done this about 4 yrs back before i had an aviary on my stock shed the shed kept getting damp because of it,i wouldnt recommend it unless uve got a blow torch and burn it straight after cos dampness in any loft is bad news
stevebelbin Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 Same here, bath them in the aviary and dont let them out. I opened the loft to let them out for a fly on the weekend and they wouldnt come out, so I just locked them in the aviary as usual.
kev01293 Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 i know how u feel mark as the same thing happens to me some days when i dont get back home from work in time before dark, i dont like keeping my birds in but ive recently started having hawk problems so maybe its a blessing in disguise me getting home late? kev
