i dont let my birds out in the winter months...i believe all ur doing is feeding the hawks.

i can bath them in the loft..in the flights and they seem happy enough.

only thing about bathing in ur loft i done this about 4 yrs back before i had an aviary on my stock shed the shed kept getting damp because of it,i wouldnt recommend it unless uve got a blow torch and burn it straight after cos dampness in any loft is bad news

i know how u feel mark as the same thing happens to me some days when i dont get back home from work in time before dark, i dont like keeping my birds in but ive recently started having hawk problems so maybe its a blessing in disguise me getting home late?

Totally agreed with you,,, I don't let my birds out in the winter months,,, they get a bath in the avairy once a week - let them out after the new year....
