pigeon land web site

i dont make many post, i much prefer to follow the various pigeon sites as a guest, but i feel i must make a post regarding the pigeon land web site.

 

i have just visited the site & i can honestly say i was lost for words  because of the content on there, utterly childish drivel is the best way i can put it. i think the administrator is a member on here also & i would like to ask him just what has happend to his site, it did have good topics of pigeon interest but please take a look at it now.

 

i think the members of pigeonbasics should be grateful that our administrator & moderators keep our site up to an acceptable standard,  i for one appreciate their hard work , thankyou & keep it up

nobody is forcing you to use it, if you dont like any site you dont use it and i also know over the last few weeks a lot of members from pigeon basics have joined pigeon land and post on it regularily, there are plenty internet sites that get used by folk who are members of a few and they post on them as well, if there is any particular sites folk visit and they dont like them nobody forces them to go back on

Fred, thankyou for your post, all  can really say is that if you don't like pigonland please don't visit it , A bit of humour is better to read than abuse which seems to be the main topic of discussion on this forum over the last few weeks .

If you felt that strongly about making a post about pigeonland don't you think pigeonland should have been the place to make it? and not pigeonbasics.

 

If any other member of pigeonbasics would like to put there point accross about the content of pigeonland please feel free to sign up and join pigeonland, all are welcome

Hear hear Stephen ....What was the point of posting your opinion here rather on the site concerned and as the old addage goes you pays your money you makes your choice Fred. Hmmm cant recall seeing you on there or here much ...take it you visit sites for the more discerning Fancier and it all depends on your definition of childish drivel .....

dandydoo if you read my post again you will see i say "i dont make many post, i much prefer to follow the various pigeon sites as a guest," this could be why you me on sites very much. the only site i am registered with is this great site, its got all i need, but i do like others do & that is read what is going on with the other pigeon sites, after all we dont buy a tv just to watch channel 5 do we ??????

 

stephen i was considering joining your web site but the recent & past content made me  reconsider, this is also the reason why i did not post my comments on there,

 

you are all correct when you say no one forces anyone to view  a website but just because i am not  member of that site doesnt mean i can not freely comment on it, after all i am not a member of the conservative party but i still make my own comments on their policies etc.

 

A bit of humour is better to read than abuse, well stephen if you call what i recently read on there as humor i can only say there must be a new form of "alternative humor" out there because i fail to see what is remotely funny, i would have thought if you wanted to attract new members to your site you would offer them topics relating t racing pigeons & not allow "childish" drivel be posted all over the site but thats your prerogatived stephen, its just a shame.

i am a member of a few sites and visit them, its everyones chioce to do so but i do think if u have a complaint about one u start posts about it on that site not another, so will lock this one before it gets too involved in agro, all the best
