Guest Hjaltland Posted January 16, 2007 Report Posted January 16, 2007 Id like to hear if anyones got whippet X border collies, and what you think of them?
celtic Posted January 16, 2007 Report Posted January 16, 2007 Go to www.earthdogrunning dog.com, and you will both find what your looking for, whippet x border collies you'll find most weeks in the countryman's weekly , just ask your newsagent and they'll order it in for you, pups always available and a good few whippet breeders advertise in there also.

Guest Paulo Posted January 17, 2007 Report Posted January 17, 2007 Had all sorts of running dogs before. Got a lurcher now the pigeons love her as she just goes to sleep and lets them walk around her one even jumps on her back. Great dogs 40 mph coach potahoes if your active they are a great dog as you can tak ethem fell walking, running and all sorts and not tire them out but if your lazy like me at the minute they just love lazing around as well.
Guest shadow Posted January 17, 2007 Report Posted January 17, 2007 Bred and raced whippet's for several years in CO durham packed in when iI joined the RAF in 1970. Have a whippet X greyhound at the moment.
celtic Posted January 17, 2007 Report Posted January 17, 2007 Great all round dogs whether you want them for out mooching about ;D or just as a good companion, i'd recommend a lurcher to anybody over many other breeds of dogs that are about.
superleeds Posted January 17, 2007 Report Posted January 17, 2007 if you can try to get a bedlington terrier x whippet thay are a lot stronger than pure whippets very good whith the birds and the best cat deterant ive ever had.allso if you have land you can use with permision good fun when used with working ferrets and on the lamp.
