Guest Freebird Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 but still Not pure bred PIGEONS, which was what the statement implied unless you go back to the Rock Dove. Pure ABC maybe, I wont disagree with that, but no such thing as a pure this strain or that strain, as people try to lead us to believe. Spot on.
Runt3 Posted April 3, 2009 Report Posted April 3, 2009 rolers roll back Tumblers roll ford tipplers fly hight for a long time
Guest ljb107 Posted April 3, 2009 Report Posted April 3, 2009 rolers roll back Tumblers roll ford tipplers fly hight for a long time tumblers don't roll forward, they do short backward flips. Rollers roll backwards down to the ground.
black badge Posted April 3, 2009 Report Posted April 3, 2009 The more I read these posts the more I realise the amount of people who do not have a clue about Rollers and Tumblers, what Mr Freebird has said about Tumblers is wrong, around the Birmingham area not so many years ago there were roller clubs which would fly these Tumblers which I might add were only found around this area, and probably why you are confused, if you were to see a good kit of Tumblers from around the Birmingham area in a competition they would take your breath away to the extent that you would want to get rid of your rollers and buy a kit of these. Due to the popularity of these birds and the amount of stealing of kits of good birds that have been stolen, the sport of Tumbler flying around this area has been decimated, but believe me these birds were a wonderful site to see.
badgeman Posted April 3, 2009 Report Posted April 3, 2009 Black Badge ,i agree and could not have put it better ,a good kit of tumblers outshine the rollers everytime.
little sam Posted April 3, 2009 Report Posted April 3, 2009 I have to say it, Cant resist any longer, One rolls, One Tumbles and the other One Tipples
black badge Posted April 3, 2009 Report Posted April 3, 2009 As I said in my previous post some people don't have a clue about Tumbler's, and as your name states (MIKKEY) I think you are taking it, it is difficult teaching the uneducated.

Runt3 Posted April 5, 2009 Report Posted April 5, 2009 tumblers don't roll forward, they do short backward flips. Rollers roll backwards down to the ground. I got one right Barry
Guest Posted April 5, 2009 Report Posted April 5, 2009 lol im very educated just ask badgeman, like i said tumblers are a poor mans roller There are many different breeds of Tumblers, from all over the world, which are bred specifically to "tumble" and not "roll" that will have no historical connection to Rollers.
badgeman Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 Mikkey ,remember those large rollers you sold me a while back ???? ,they turned out to be chickens ,you feather-merchant lol, jfm.
