ticeye Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 so sorry to hear of matts death remember back in the seventies getting a mealy squeeker stray of matts come into my loft 5 miles south of belfast. i reported it and matt said could keep it it was a lovely bird . every day when let out for exercise it would disapear and return late at night well flown i believed it was trying to return home. then it disappeared the next day matt phoned me and said the mealy had returned i transfered it back to him matt informed me later that the mealy had won 3 races and went on to fly from france on a number of times if his birds are still of that quality they should do very well in the sale my condolences to the family circle ticeye
