dandydoo Posted January 28, 2007 Report Posted January 28, 2007 I know plenty loons but not of the quinnie kind ...all in the Kingdom of Fife
ACE LOFTS Posted January 28, 2007 Report Posted January 28, 2007 if i was to buy van loons i would be looking at the planet van loons, and the only 1 that holds there own in the natianal and classic racing and has the best of the van loons would be seagull they have some very very classy van loons with old rings on so i no that there are pritty close to the tree. iv seen them and handeled them and they are nice. i dont think i would be looking any further than that1

schyphos Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 Planet Bros pigeons are now so far removed from the originals that there are a lot better alsewhere. The same can also be said for Louis Van Loon,he is now not in the best of health and does not race anymore,he has also sold the best that he owned. The two fanciers that i believe now have the best Van Loons are Joop Merckx and Bleeker & son.If you buy from either of these fanciers you will not go far wrong where the Van Loons are concerned. P.s Planet Bros are in my club.
