Guest Posted February 5, 2007 Report Posted February 5, 2007 without handling a bird and knowing of its origin and breeder..just by looking at it...wot tells u in ur opinion, thats the bird for u?..paul
Wiley Posted February 5, 2007 Report Posted February 5, 2007 i dont know to me there is just an instant draw and attraction to the bird mate nothing over then that i done this two years ago at a Blackpool stand and just an instant grab factor, just something i liked about it.Paid £100 and the amount of children and grandchildren that have scored for me is sheer class. I couldnt tell ya what it was but just an instant reaction love at first sight.
ACE LOFTS Posted February 5, 2007 Report Posted February 5, 2007 i think i would have to agree with u there wiley
mark Posted February 5, 2007 Report Posted February 5, 2007 on the other hand wiley, how many birds have you purchased that did not live up to your expectations,?
Wiley Posted February 5, 2007 Report Posted February 5, 2007 mark mate only ever had this happen to me twice my friend. First time was a couple years back at a dennis nunn sale bought a pigeon and has bred me at least 5 winners and other cards including federation and pigeons to have scored well in the combine, and grandchildren now are winning. The second time is happened was at blackpool at frank taskers stand when i purchased a cheq hen and this pigeon has produced alot of top birds for myself and has produced winners with 3 different pigeons as well as offspring that have scored well in club and federation. So to answer your questions on this situation mark it has been 2 out of 2 my friend which to me the averages are good!
