Guest CS Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 wot do fanciers think about vaccinating for paratyphoid ??? is it true that many eggs get called dead in the shell is down too paratyphoid ??? wot are your thoughts on this ??
Guest Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 Salmonella infection in the hen's oviduct can be transferred to the egg during egg formation and gets 'wrapped' inside the shell, eventually killing the developing embryo inside. Its not something that I've ever been troubled with, so I don't think my vaccinating against it would be necessary.
