Novice Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 I know this fancier well. The double story building is his racing loft.
sharkfin Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 If you know this man Novice you know he does not need his birds to be slagged off on any site by a clown who has never met him and knows nothing about racing pigeons Jim was gifted pouters as an added interest for his son a few years ago birds that are bred to work not show. The man who started this thread has never flew a working Horseman in compition or raced a bird show man all his days.I was gifted ybs from Jims stock loft along with a stb clock to help me restart in the sport a genuine man and fancier like a good few fanciers in the sport and reading through the posts on this site aswell with fanciers generosity helping others out to start up .
little sam Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 Where can you get Radar Pouters from, And are they all like that ?

Guest ljb107 Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 Where can you get Radar Pouters from, And are they all like that ? I think the radar pouters were created in the us and only a couple of people are in the process of creating them over here in britain. It will probably take a few years before you can get some. Horseman pouters or spanish croppers do the job - you could even cross horseman and racers so they will fly further away to find a mate. Lloyd
franny41 Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 hi Lloyd the radar formula was sussed out by anthony kellers (U.K.) born & bred and was kind enough to share his formula with everyone :ie his formula is on the internet yes there are a few guys in the prosses of creating these pouter hear in the U.K. and abroad i have been breeding them for a number of years now and have passed some on to a few good friends and the feed back so far has been really positive and i'm very happy with there perfomance :ie working / flying ability. yours in sport Franny. 8)
little sam Posted April 28, 2009 Report Posted April 28, 2009 What is this 'Formular' Just cross breeding?
Glassfeather Posted April 28, 2009 Report Posted April 28, 2009 It's a method of cross-breeding which derives certain aspects of the various breeds used. The various breeds of Spanish pouters have different styles of flight, and different "attitudes" to the seduction of a potential mate, depending on which region of Spain they were developed in. You might say they have different areas of "expertise". In his method, Anthony has attempted to combine these in a manner which gives the bird a balance between pursuit and seduction.
