hi does it matter if not all of the pairs are put into the nestbox on the same day, does it matter if some are a week erlier then other? :-/

no im not flying the widowhood, but what about training will it affect training? :)

If you are flying natural the old bird training usually begins when the pair are down on their second round of eggs. Birds will lay a few days apart anyway, so no harm done a pair being put down a week early or a week late.

 

If you are worried about young bird training, same applies, age differences of 10-14 days in the same round don't make any difference.

i dont have old birds this year as it is my first year, so im going to pair up 2 sets today and 2 sets later this week or next week!! cheers!.....

im having a hard time mating one pair.. as they are not intrested in each other. not yet!!

As you are just starting let them pick their own partners it will be a lot easier for you

i did let them choose thair own mate and i think it worked, how do i tell if two birds are mated?
