Guest CS Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 Are you worried because it may spread, are you worried because we may or may not get racing, or are we been made the scapegoats everytime there’s an outbreak, anything else you can think of,
Guest jason Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 Last year had a load of trouble with neigbours, they got the police involved if you remember, just cause I let my birds out. even though there was no bird flu restrictions in my area. I think its us pigeon lads that get a lot of the rap for bird flu.And the public getting the wrong end of the stick, regarding information on bird flu. Anyways I'm hoping to inform the public about racing pigeons and bird flu on my website in the near future. Last year a mate of mine had a load of grief when the bird flu came to light, his loft is outside a school, across a main road, but the parents were going crazy trying to say that his pigeons could give bird flu to the children of the school. absolute crazy!!!! Guest Paulo Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 a load of crap people are such girls if your going to die your going to die. Disease is natures way of keeping the population down and there are too mnay of us simple no matter how much they panic new virus are and will continue to kill humans. Why worry
Guest Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 There's always winners & losers. Think from a neighbourhood relations viewpoint, we have won more than a few points during this latest skirmish. Think the media interest and broadcasts that this is a 'disease of poultry' ; and the probability 'poultry-to-poultry infection spread the disease to this country' has been welcome free publicity for us and our case that pigeons don't spread it.
