Guest Posted February 17, 2007 Report Posted February 17, 2007 Looking forward to this Sunday Jimmy. Hope you've managed to get a good write-up for pigeons and pigeon folks.
celtic Posted February 17, 2007 Author Report Posted February 17, 2007 I was actually visiting jimmy when the photographer was at his house for the picture session, got to give jim a pat on the back for giving pigeonbasics and it's members such a good shout, not sure if the photographer had had anything to do with pigeons before but he certainly seemed very interested and was asking and getting a lot of information from jimmy, even said he is going to look in on the site. he seemed most impressed when jimmy was explaining all the charity donations that members give on the site for people less fortunate whether they be fanciers or not, and seemed genuinely surprised when jim was telling him how fanciers from all over the country often offer free birds to youngsters or whoever who are starting up in the sport. I'm sure the story will come across very positively for the sport and who knows we may get a lot of new members joining ppigeonbasics.com to have a look for themselves and see if they want to get involved in the sport. Well done Jimmy.
