kev01293 Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 well done westy for getting your pigeon out of the chimney stack, o k it was messy but you saved your pigeon from a certain death, good work kev
Peckedhen Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 You were lucky you could reach it - my chimney bird cost me £100! £50 for the sweep to sweep it down and then another £50 for him to fit a wire cowl on to prevent it happening again. Blow me if the bloomin' bird didn't get lost a week later!! : ;D

Guest Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 Don't know if its easy to get to the chimney pot, Westy, but sounds like fitting a wire mesh cap over it might be a good idea. OR replace the ventilator in your bedroom with a sputnic ;D
