i have kept pigeons since i was 14 i am now 22 it is not a waste of your child hood if you enjoy it it would just be the same having a hobby like foot ball going to every game watching every match and going to football training and club but ure mum would not say anything about that it's just because it's an unusual sport that not many people understand but you get a lot out of it in the long run mate

Well mate I have to say I love me Rugger even past me prime at 44 kind of think you may need to find another interest as the birds may become an obsesion but at the end of the day you're at the end of the garden not the end of the long arm of the law best o' luck mate

iv been told by some of canadas best fliers that at my age they didnt even know half about pigeons i do now.  my mom thinks i spen way to much time with the birds, i dont care what any one els thinks i love my birds..

Ben I am sorry to hear of your recent loss, and being told you are wasting your childhood is something that you can well do without just now. We adults can be right insensitive morons at times.  

 

You have shown that you can be successful in what you put your mind to. Be sure that you have other interests, remember you have human friends too so don't neglect them either, and make sure that you are 100% up on your school studies.

 

Chin up, I'm sure this hurt will pass. Good luck.

as long as your happy and having fun your not wasting anything. Enjoy yourself just make sure you do a few other things apart from pigeons and don't get obsessed
