pigeonpete Posted March 15, 2007 Report Posted March 15, 2007 hi, was just wondering, am putting my hens with ybs, as i havent got seperate compartment, will it do them any harm being on darkness with them? what effects if any will it have on them? any advise appreciated, thanks in advance

mookie Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 should not affect them once they get to strech their wings morn and eve for an hour but if they start to mate with each other in the dark corners of the loft you may forget about it

Guest Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 A few people darken their hens pete as silver toye did, but they take them off about May time. It's once the hens come off dark they come in to super condition.
