stevebelbin Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 They will soon get used to going in the right box - just takes time
jimmy white Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 yes max ,, had that prob plenty times , but as steve says , they eventually cotton on
madmaxlofts Posted March 17, 2007 Author Report Posted March 17, 2007 it just proper winds me up not used to messing about chasing the cocks out ov each others boxes
NANCYVIEWLOFTS Posted March 17, 2007 Report Posted March 17, 2007 until they know their boxes properly dont put the pots in until you feed them
Pompey Mick Posted March 17, 2007 Report Posted March 17, 2007 I would say its the stall traps, its filtering the birds in, all they,re doing is thieving each others feed while the other cocks are waiting to get in. Once all the birds are in they should eventually sort themselves out, it should encourage them to trap quicker. if you want to ensure they are getting their correct feed, just get them in with a tit-bit in each box, peanuts or seed, and then when they have settled put the correct feed in each pot.
