Not sure where you would get them cheaply but the birds of Peter Fox and syndicate lofts seem to do well in my area. I am in merseyside and there have been a number of winners from there either direct or roundabout.  

 

Hmmm funny, I have not won for a while and i'm telling peeps where winning birds are coming from. :-/ :-/

depends what distance you want them for - they wont all go 400 miles

 

lots of good janssen based families around as mentioned above

 

others on my list would be louella, tom sherwood, mr & mrs duggins, fountainhead, petron - and am sure stuart/raymond has some too- de klaks

 

as above also depends on what you want to pay
