Allround it was a little disapointing, but i think thats down to the stall holders, remeber they bring the entertanment. The room was very cold which help the birds.

 

There was too much ets, people look sick of it already!

 

One positive for us was that Geoff Kirkland spent a 1 hour talking to us on our stand and looked at all the birds, we were overjoyed that he was so impressed with the Lightenberg pigeons that he took a young hen with him and ordered 6 more!!!!!

 

The Welsh show (which is actuall number 1) will be better.

There is only one Blackpool, the continentals have great shows as advertising rates in the books are expensive, so the companies use them as PR. but Blackpool well we are just well spoilt there, theres nothing like it one big blow out!

Yes we have some nice youngsters at wales, just hope the punters realise the quality before buying from 1 or other studs that have never won a 1st prize in there life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a pity about Walsall, in an earlier post this year Wiley commented that it was dissapointing last year (and he was right) and I thought it would have been built on and become really good this year........however Aberdare is a good day out and it has the added advantage of Channel racing being approved, that should stir the market up a bit and make it busy for the stall holders.

Yep Wiley...........it might have put people off and I genuinley thought that Mark Evans had the capability of putting on a terrific show, it was the first we were talking about and first time efforts can be dissapointing. Thought it might put people off when the second show was going to be a good un, not!

But Wiley, I mentioned it and put my hands up and said, you was right............never to big to admit getting it wrong.

Thanks Stu, hope to get across, would like to have a look at the quality of your distance stuff, not likely to be in the market unless there's something special at a price we can afford though!

However I must say quite honestly that the Old Janssen cock I had off you last time, was outstanding value for £50 and I expect to breed Fed winners out of him!
