i cant understand why all unions in the uk cannot have each others ring lists availible .this would allow each union member to ring their union and get the details straight there and then!..

i may... foolishly(report more then my fair share?...of strays.

here in wales we have to registra every bird that we race not whpu rung.(at a cost)surely if i report a gb/ihu wotever the reg is...i would ring that union, and not my union whpu...this is a another case of unions having their extra little bit of our money.

but back to the start ....wouldnt it be beneficial to all members of all unions if they just had to ring their union their flying under to get all the details they need?...wot are ur thoughts?....paul :)

I think the RPRA stopped giving out details to non members, this was to put a halt to stray bashers/pest control firms extorting money for the return of our pigeons.

Well in young birds there's a chance that the owners details are there either on a wingstamp or address ring. One phone call instead of two.

Wondered why old birds weren't the same? Would surely save a bit of phoning around.
