Your right there, luckily Alf posted up straight away and so I scanned the comp, had to restore it back to an earlier time in the end tho but im all clear now

I have contacted the owner of racingpigeonform.com - as far as I am aware this was not the person who provided the link. Racingpigeonforum.com hasnt been closed down, check the url.

 

What was the virus contained in the file? I've tested it on several virus scanners and nothing has come up.

I will let you know what I found in it tomorrow I printed the info off and took it into work today to get our IT blokes to check it up for me and let me know how bad it is

Might not be an actual person in the flesh so to speak. People create these things to go walkies on the web and attack and bring down websites / computers. I thought the webmaster2000 sounded vaguely familiar ... I don't get 'out in the wild virus notifications' anymore, but reckon this might be one of the earlier ones.

 

Would also steer clear of downloading anything  *.exe   your software download manager should warn you not to open it, unless you know and trust the Site its coming from.
