Elvan Willgrass Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 Does anyone know what the weather condition were like on Sunday morning at Wanstead Flats as I was told it was impossible to liberate there, yet not far away birds were liberated starting at starting 7.20 am.
Wiley Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 it wasnt impossible but it was very bad weather, there was spells of clearing of good clearing and at times broken sky, but these times where very limited, i live 5 miles from the flats, and alot of birds didnt clear i've had two strays in being raced from the flats in 2 days

Wiley Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 saturday was very dull and overcast mate untill around 1.30-2.00 thats when the sun came out around here, i visited the lib site on the saturday alot of the conveyors that i spoke to reckoned the way it was looking would have been a held over but that early in the morning around 7.30ish

I live abot 8-9 miles from the Flats, weather wasn't perfect but good enough for a lib between 7am-9am after that you wouldn't have got out.
