four eggs

We were checking nests today and found we have a pair of doves that have laid four eggs not exactly sure how far apart but within 7 days, as we noted when they laid their first egg on 25th May

Any theories or suggestions please

iether 2 hens or another hen using the same nest, even paired to the same cock. but most likely 2 hens,

Thanks sorry never thought of that simple reason,  as we some times allow our fantails to do this, the pair picked each other
