Guest Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 every body has to start some where, i started on a susuki 500, i fell off, we have had yammies hondas even crappy kawas the suzuki engine is hard to brake,i say each to there own, but give me a suzuki anyday. :P
Guest Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 Think I win worst biker prize, roundabouts were my problem, workmates used to claim I went over them rather than thro them. Bit late into the game 30-somethin needed it to get to work for 6am. ;D Was a Suzy 100 for me - big ideas of moving up never happened - but I think there was a weight / tyre prob with them, roundabouts inside lanes were chockers with small gravel, got under your tyres, couped the bike & history ;D Great for getting to places wouldn't dream of taking a car tho, old railway lines, farm tracks etc. ;D
Guest Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 Bruno, that was exactly my problem! Are you saying that after all these years of beating myself up over being a crap rider, it was my bike to blame?? :'( :'( Well, I may just go a buy another one now, I wonder if Harley Davidson do a 50cc chopper with stabilizers! ;D ;D

Guest Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 I remember the day it happened! There was a bus full of screaming pasengers panicking & praying & trying to get out of the emergency exits as this double decker went hurtling past me. The wind off it nearly knocked me over! I rung my little bell in fury at the driver, but it was no good, as she couldn't see me in the rear view mirror, as she was looking at the oncoming traffic thinking, "Why are all of these people on the wrong side of the road?" ;D ;D
