PIGEON_MAN Posted July 4, 2007 Report Posted July 4, 2007 the welsh south east national basketing 10th july has been cancelled due too defra restrictions no alternative national being arranged. I find this very strange after only reading last night that there were no new restrictions by Defra and it was business as usual, are the restictions you mention new ones that have been decided on today.
deanbruton Posted July 4, 2007 Author Report Posted July 4, 2007 it was posted on national website today at lunchtime, so something must have prompted this today. What seems strange is no alternative race planned.
Guest Posted July 4, 2007 Report Posted July 4, 2007 hi i find it hard to believe they havent already figuring wot has happenedie ( bird flu) around that area... this wasnt forseen and a different race already in the pipeline ,my club wouldnt be sending to giessen anyway, because of the hidings some of them have had from previous races. they have changed the new race programme again..paul
Guest waynemorris Posted July 4, 2007 Report Posted July 4, 2007 this fed/national is bloody useless it seems to me theres plenty of time to at least race from somewhere in belgium and yes they should have been sorting an alternative as soon as they heard of bird flu in germany. they are absolutely bloody hopless bad liberations rubbish race programmes and no foresight i say lets get all our club secs to put forward a motion to return to north road racing at the next agm
Guest Posted July 4, 2007 Report Posted July 4, 2007 Got a feeling a lot of the north wales lads will go south on the channel next year
deanbruton Posted July 4, 2007 Author Report Posted July 4, 2007 yes got to agree not very good organisation, with bad racing supposely moving transporter, separate lib at one national and as you say no forsight to arrange another race. The overseas program was non existent with just 4 races and not really thought out. I wish our club had not turned from the south road. The losses this year not only overseas but inland have been astronomical, with a state of the art transporter to make racing better we seem to be going backwards.
Guest Posted July 4, 2007 Report Posted July 4, 2007 with the ongoing threat coming back again...the welsh north road should have gone back to north road racing in y/b,s this yr,next year will be the same again, but i have to admit...this year there have been a terrific amount of birds going down/getting lost,a m8 of mine who was 3rd national south road other week sent 5 to bonn ...guess wot...he hasnt had any back!.....paul
Guest Posted July 5, 2007 Report Posted July 5, 2007 well id be happy if we all turned north or direct south....this south east is crucifying some teams. the liberations have been terrible to say the least.with many flyers losing top birds in which should have been good racing.
