found french pigeons

has anyone had bother reporting a french pigeon by e mail , i know of at least 3 fanciers who have e mailed the french union and the supposedly , lost pigeon tracer ,,,lost@columbophiliefr.com  on  a couple of occasions ,,e mails went,, but no reply ???

have reported several pigeons over the years and only ever had one reply spain is even worse

Hi Jimmy,just read your message,I've reported quite a few over the last few years and never had any problems,do the birds have a second ring on with an address or phone no.?

Just out of interest to you, had a french bird in for about a week not long back, cracking bird. Waited till there was north in the wind, and liberated from leicester around 9am. Put some extra rubbers on and slipped a peice of paper in with Engaland and phone number, 8.30 PM phone rang and some voice shouts Allo

have pigeon Merci, Merci. Couldn't hold a conversation as my french is non existent and he couldn't speak english.

 

Doesn't help with your reporting of birds, just if they are fit wait for some North and sling em up.
