Guest REDFOXKRAUTHS Posted July 30, 2006 Report Posted July 30, 2006 I THINK THERE IS 7-10 BIRDS BACK IN THE CLUB
madas26 Posted July 30, 2006 Report Posted July 30, 2006 pigeon life involves alot of heart ache and frustration.... i sent 12 for my first ever race last week(young birds) i came 4th i was buzzin this week different story sent same amount to same place and came about 9th i was gutted luckily i got better returns this week, than i did last week, gonna train them 2-3 days this weeksee wot happens, but it takes years mate to get the right system and birds
Guest REDFOXKRAUTHS Posted July 30, 2006 Report Posted July 30, 2006 I HAD 4TH 9TH AND 10TH CLUB, 5TH 11TH AND 12TH FED LAST WEEK WITH 9 BIRDS
GREENGRASS Posted July 30, 2006 Report Posted July 30, 2006 unfortunately ben there is no other sport in the world to bring you down like pigeon racing. 1st fed one week not a feather the next week. on the bright side you only had 5 away and everyone seemed to have a bad race so you know it is not just you. If everyone had their birds home and you had none then i would be worried. but keep your chin up ben as that 1st club and 1st fed is just around the corner for you.
GROVEHOMER Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 ben, I tried to reply to you yesterday but have had major probs with computer. when ive sorted out my computer i will get in touch dont know how long that will be though! hope you and your fellow members have got some birds back.

Guest marvin Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 keep at it redfox we all get days like those some times i wonder if i want to win and lose a few birds or be abit behind and get them all home i had 12 from 24 this week in 3 minutes and then waited hours for anything else still 2 away now just keep at it mate good luck this week let me know how you got on
Guest REDFOXKRAUTHS Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 im out of young birds i bred 51 y/bs up on the alotments, for racing,as my garden i can only fit a small 8x6 shed in,but a pair of sparrow hawks, and a perigrine, eat or scared all of them away,so i swopped lofts, and had about 12 young ones, i lost 2 training and 1 of the loft,i sent 9 to my first race and got 4th,9th and 10th club,5th 11th and 12th fed, i got 7/9,this week i sent 5 and got 0,so i dont no what happened,i have two left and 7 latebreds, one annoyed young fancier(lol) ben
Guest shadow Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 I'm afraid that's pigeon racing for you up one week down the next if you do not like losing them seeing as you are in a bad part of the country for racing pigeons with all the hawks etc if I were you I would just keep a few as pets or get some fancy ones
Guest REDFOXKRAUTHS Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 no i dont mind looseing them atall but every one had a bad race so im not the only one, ben
