First Ever Race

Hi Peeps

 

Well it has finally arrived: my first ever pigeon race. I am soooooooooo excited I could.... (never mind). lol. This Saturday we are racing from Wincanton and pigeons have been training well. Just hope they come back, nothing more. Good luck to all on Saturday.

You might be surprised young bird racing is a great leveller. Just keep them fit and healthly and if you have the right blood they will come. Just had my second ever race and I got a postion so as you can see the early yb races are anybodies.

Very proud of my birds. Took 23rd place out of 285 birds. Poor birds looked nackered but they came home. Out of 11 birds sent I got 9 back. Hope everyone else had a good race.
