MOST CLUBS WILL LET YOUR SON IN WITH OUT PAYING ANY FEES, I WOULD THINK MOST FEDS WOULD DO THE SAME,   ALL THE BEST PETER

My son is 13, last year he was 2nd sec 20th MNFC. He has had his own birds for four years. Last year he was clock setting. This year he helps me on the feeder transporter. Aint been sec yet but he's done everything else. My club and my performances have greatly benefitted from his work. Our club waived membership fees but he does pay union and MNFC fees. Hmm maybe I should say I get that privelidge. He does like his coloured birds, but he won the longest young bird race with a grizzle. His MNFC bird is a barless mealy.

Hello. I am a young fancier too. i started racing with my grandad a few years ago as partnership. then the other year one of my dads friends who races pigeons suggested that i race my own but at that time my dad would not let me have my own loft in the garden so i had my own pigeons but in my grandads loft and all we did was fight as his loft was only 32ft long. we had many arguments and i was not able to do what i wanted with my pigeons and therefore i did not get good race results. over christmas my dad decided to build me my own loft in the garden and this is much better. i am young fancier and just entered the young fancier young bird competition, did anyone else enter it? i have been in the fed for the past three weeks but last week i had a bad race and do not think that i will be in the fed this week and i am very disapointed in this, my dad explained why we had a bad race and this was due to the weather.

i was wondering does anyone who races pigeons live near Essex at all?

dont be dissapointed in losing if your a beginner you have to give it a couple of years to build a proper team and get the right birds, plus gain some experiances. When i was a beginner the thing that i was bothered about was gettin them all home, but everyone told me that i cant just expect to go in to the sport and win everything it takes patience but good luck anyway and do not let the time thing deter you as its all worth it when your birds are right in the end ;)
